SCHNITZels & GIGGLES was our new adventure last summer, an off-shoot from our successful German Restaurant Alphorn Bistro at Inn at Danbury in Danbury NH. You might know us too from the reality TV show "Wife Swap." This dream sprang from the imagination of Chef Bob when he saw how many bags of potatoes were delivered to a concession trailer at a fair in 2009. Our homemade food is similar to that of the restaurant, except in a fair-like style. Our Mighty, Exclusive, Distinctive & Exceptional SCHNITZEL ON A STICK (a one-of-its-kind concept never been done before), has become our best seller to date! Other menu offerings consist of: German Potato Salad, Sauerkraut, Spätzle, a Wiener Schnitzel Sandwich, and Fresh House Made Bratwurst either on a roll or on a stick. Our Wurst are made with Chef Graf's own secret Bratwurst recipe and topped with his tasty mustard. Our unique approach of fresh food, our brilliant menu and our smiling window service by our son and daughters in their traditional German Clad, entered us into the hottest new food trend – the mobile restaurant concept! In 2010 we took our Award Winning Austro/German cuisine to many NH fairs and various other functions. We received "BEST FOOD Concession" at our very first fair, the Cheshire Fair, in Swanzey. After that, our travels took us to the Cornish, Hopkinton, Hillsborough, Rochester and Deerfield Fairs where we were well-received by happy fair goers. Our biggest endeavour was at the International Oktoberfest at Newport RI waterfront's yachting center were we fed hundreds of people each day. Our final 2010 event was at the Apple Harvest Festival in Glastonbury CT. We are looking forward to serving you our amazing food from our gorgeous concession trailer!  SCHNITZels & GIGGLES has been selected by the editors of NH Magazine as "BEST OF NH 2011" for "BEST GERMAN FAIR FOOD!" We are so excited about this fantastic award. Please join us in the celebration on Thursday, June 23, at Manchester's Verizon Arena from 5:30 - 8:30 PM Proceeds of this event's ticket sales will benefit the NH Food Bank.
